
Sue worked mainly in wood and plastics both in teaching and hobbies. She learned to make silver jewellery here in New Zealand.
Sue has been making jewellery since 2003.
Since 2006 her jewellery is available at a number of Design stores and Galleries. She discovered that making silver jewellery was an enchanting way of expressing her love of life in New Zealand.
In her jewellery Sue continues trying to capture natural movements seen in our amazing surroundings.
Perpetually aiming to transform her view of the beauty of New Zealand's native birds, flora and fauna into pieces of body adornment.
Sue spends as much time as possible making jewellery and is still teaching part time.
She teaches some Technology at Intermediate school and some jewellery classes at Inverlochy Art School in Wellington.
Sue is now a member of MainArtery – www.mainartery.co.nz which is for artists in the Wairarapapa, she has also become a member of the Art Guild – www.nzartguild.co.nz
